TESTIMONIALS

Thejaswini Theju

My 4 year old son has been attending Manomaya art school for 3 weeks now, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. From the moment we walked in, I could tell that this was a place where creativity and learning are truly celebrated.
Manohar sir is incredibly nurturing the kids with patience. They make learning so fun and engaging for young children, ensuring that each child is encouraged to explore their imagination.
Manomaya emphasis on making art and enjoyable, stree-frer experience. The teachers are not just focused on creating little artist, but they are also incredibly focused on developing my childs confidence and self expression. I have noticed that my son is more enthusiastic about learning and has gained a better understanding of colours, shapes and textures.

I highly recommend Manomaya Art School to any parent looking for nurturing, creative environment where children can thrive.

I've been taking online painting classes with Mr. Mano for the past 5 months and it has been a very enjoyable experience. I'm from Chicago, US and ran into Manomaya Art School while searching for online acrylic painting lessons.

While I requested acrylic lessons to begin with, I soon realized that Mr. Mano has a wealth of knowledge on various mediums. So I get to learn and explore other techniques and mediums once in a while too.

He is great at providing direction and feedback, and encourages us to develop our own style, not just for the pieces he teaches but for any independent works we undertake as well.

Welcome message from the founder

Dear Parents, Students, and Art Enthusiasts,
Welcome to Manomaya Art School, a space where imagination finds purpose and creativity becomes a way of life. When I started Manomaya© in 2018, my vision was simple — to create an environment where children could explore their inner world through the language of art. Over the years, it has grown into much more than just an art school. It has become a nurturing ground for confidence, observation, patience, and joy.
At Manomaya©, we don’t teach children how to draw, we teach them how to see. We don’t just focus on strokes and shades, we focus on creative ideas, and the silent expression that every child holds within. Through structured techniques and free-flowing creativity, we help young minds build not just their skills, but also their voice.
Whether it’s a simple sketch, a paper sculpture, or a plein air painting, each creation at Manomaya© is a step toward something deeper — a sense of self, a sense of joy. I invite you to join us on this artistic journey.

Admission Process & Guidelines

manomaya assessment

At Manomaya® Art School, we believe every child is unique, and so is their learning journey.
To ensure we provide the right guidance, we follow a simple yet thoughtful admission process.

Interview

Before admission, each child attends a warm and creative behavioural assessment session. It is not a test, but a gentle interaction that helps us understand their focus, patience, skill level, and natural inclination toward art. This allows us to begin their journey at Manomaya® with the right level of guidance and support.

Admission Confirmation

Once the interaction session is completed, parents receive a confirmation along with the class schedule. A Google registration form, including the annual fee structure and all required details, is then shared with them.

How creativity helps across professions ?

Creativity isn’t just for artists, it is the ability to think in fresh, flexible, and innovative ways a skill essential in every profession your child may choose in the future. If your child becomes a doctor, creativity helps in diagnosing complex cases and finding solutions when standard approaches fail. If they become an engineer, it aids in designing smarter, more efficient systems. In business, creativity helps in problem-solving, strategy, and seeing opportunities others miss. For teachers, it allows them to connect with students in engaging ways. Even in professions like law or science, creativity empowers individuals to approach challenges from unique angles, leading to breakthroughs.

How Art Triggers This Creativity?

Art trains the mind to observe details, recognise patterns, and think in terms of possibilities rather than fixed answers. When a child mixes colours to find the perfect shade, they are learning experimentation. When they draw from imagination, they build the confidence to express original ideas. Understanding perspective strengthens spatial thinking—an essential skill for fields such as architecture and engineering. Creating compositions teaches decision-making, balance, and focus.
At Manomaya®, art is not just drawing and colouring. It is the development of a mindset that sees solutions, makes connections, and approaches life with creativity. This creative thinking becomes a lifelong asset, no matter which path a child chooses in the future.

This stage encourages them to add personal expression to their work. Year Two is all about depth, detail, and expanding their creative boundaries.

Crossing Light

Code: AP-AB003

Style: Contemporary Landscape

Medium: Acrylic on Paper

Type: Original Painting

Size: 22 × 30 inches

Framing: Unframed (framing available)

Price: ₹75,000

Crossing Light : This abstract composition unfolds as a layered dialogue between structure and spontaneity. Broad, assertive strokes in deep blues and muted greens establish a sense of weight and grounding, while luminous passages of yellow and white cut through the surface, suggesting moments of emergence and clarity. The painting feels less constructed and more arrived at—as though the artist allowed the work to reveal itself through intuitive movement rather than rigid planning.
The surface bears visible traces of the artist’s process: scraped textures, overlapping transparencies, and gestural marks that record time, revision, and intention. These elements create a dynamic tension between concealment and revelation, inviting the viewer to pause and discover new relationships within the layers on each viewing.
Despite its abstraction, the work carries an unmistakable emotional resonance. There is a quiet sense of transition—of something passing through resistance into openness. The interplay of light and depth gives the composition a contemplative quality, making it equally suited to personal spaces that invite reflection and professional environments that value visual sophistication without narrative literalism.
Crossing Light stands as a confident example of contemporary abstract practice—rooted in instinct, enriched by experience, and open to interpretation—allowing the viewer’s own emotions and memories to complete the work.

Vertical Passage

Code: AP-AB003

Style: Contemporary Landscape

Medium: Acrylic on Paper

Type: Original Painting

Size: 22 × 30 inches

Framing: Unframed (framing available)

Price: ₹75,000

Vertical Passage: This abstract work is anchored in restraint and balance, where broad vertical fields of white and ochre are held in quiet tension against earthy reds, moss greens, and softened browns. The composition reads like a structural pause—two dominant vertical planes standing apart yet subtly connected through a horizontal interruption that cuts across the surface with deliberate calm.
The artist’s handling of paint is confident and economical. Thick, opaque passages coexist with scraped and weathered textures, allowing traces of earlier layers to surface gently. These imperfections are not incidental; they form the emotional core of the work, evoking erosion, time, and memory. Occasional drips and organic breaks interrupt the geometry, preventing rigidity and restoring a sense of lived experience.
Despite its minimal palette and simplified form, the painting carries depth through tonal variation and surface activity. Light is not depicted directly but implied—emerging through contrasts, absorbed into layers, and softened by texture. The overall effect is contemplative rather than declarative, inviting prolonged viewing rather than immediate interpretation.
This work occupies a space between abstraction and architecture, making it particularly suited to refined interiors where calm, balance, and visual maturity are valued. It functions as a grounding presence—quietly powerful, emotionally neutral yet deeply resonant—allowing the viewer’s own perception and rhythm to complete the narrative.
